Jackson has stadium named after her in Australia

ALBURY, Australia (AP) — Seattle Storm center Lauren Jackson has had a stadium named after her in her hometown of Albury, New South Wales.

Jackson arrived in a black convertible Saturday and was greeted by about 1,000 cheering fans. Albury Sports Stadium was officially renamed the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre in a ceremony which followed.
