Schaghticoke One of the oldest fairs in the state starts this morning with what it started with 181 years ago, a horse show.
The Schaghticoke Fair of Rensselaer County, where you can play bingo with cow chips or watch a tractor pull or goats being milked, begins at 9 a.m. today with a draft horse show at the grandstand on the grounds at Routes 67 and 40.
