NAVISTAR DEFENSE AWARDED CONTRACT FOR GENERAL TRANSPORT TRUCKS

According to DOD: Navistar Defense, LLC, Warrenville, Ill., wasawarded on April 26 an $11,123,197 firm-fixed-price contract. Theaward will provide for the procurement of 30 general transporttrucks and 27 water tanker trucks, each with spare parts, forAfghanistan and Iraq under foreign military sales. Work will becompleted in West Point, Miss., Shepherdville, Ky., and Warrenville,Ill., with an estimated completion date of April 30, 2011. The bidwas solicited through the Internet with one bid received. The U.S.Army TACOM LCMC, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-08-D-G097).
